Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Smart Grocer account from the app. Deletion is permanent and signs you out immediately.

Delete in the app

1. Open the Smart Grocer app and sign in.
2. Open Settings from the profile icon (gear).
3. Tap Privacy & Security.
4. Tap Delete Account.
5. Type DELETE, then confirm.

Your account is deleted and you are signed out on the spot.

What we remove

We remove the personal data tied to your account, including:

• Your profile: name, home address, location preferences, and dietary preferences
• Saved stores
• Trips
• Subscription tier data stored in our database
• Login credentials

What we may keep

We may keep billing or legal records only where the law requires it. See how long we keep information in our Privacy Policy.

If you cannot open the app

Email social@smartgrocerapp.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We may verify that you own that address before we process the request.

If you joined the waitlist and never created an app account, use the same address and ask us to remove you from the waitlist.
